Must
On Sunday night I went to the pub because Paul and Kev were back for the weekend and wanted to enjoy some time with mates before another week of friendlessness!
Whilst we were there we were joined by a few people from Paul’s church and we were talking about films. Now films as this blog may suggest and if you’re my friend you will know, mean a lot to me and I love movies and in my years of having a well paid job I have built up a collection of DVD’s and video’s that is very worth being proud of. We were talking about films that are ‘must see’, films that if you want to consider yourself a fan of films or want to be able to make any comments on films then you need to have seen…
Before I put into the hat the films I consider to be ‘must see’, I challenge you all to comment and name some films that you consider ‘must see’

Ok - I don’t have internet access in Romania so I can’t answer this till at least Saturday evening. But as I trapse around the mountains and play football with gypsies, remember that I am thinking of this
Well I obviously have a bit hence me just commenting, I ment a lot of internet access to write an indepth thought
The Usual Suspects. If you cant even reference Söze, dont talk about film. Fact.
I’m sparticus hello m8s
When I think ‘must se’ i think of film that have shaped how we think, but also how Cinema has been changed by certain films. This is a bit of a jumbled list of films that have changed me, but also films that I think are generally groundbreaking:
Ben Hur, The Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind, King Kong, The Maltese Falcon, Casablanca, Sunset Boulevard, Bride of Frankenstein, Dead End, African Queen, Frankenstein, Spartacus, Bridge on the River Kwai, 2001, A Space Odyssey, Ten Commandments, The Gold Rush, the Godfather, Star Wars, Jaws, 42nd Street, Aladdin, Snow White and the 7 dwarfs, anything by Pixar, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Infernal Affairs trilogy, Donnie Darko, The Truman Show, Saving Private Ryan, 28 Days Later, Never Ending Story, Memphis Belle (won’t here a word against it!) E.T, His Girl Friday, Shane, Magnificent 7, Once upon a time in the West, One flew over the cuckoos nest, The third man
Ok I’ll stop now. I guess what I’m trying to say is that film is very subjective so what is a must for one person is absolute tosh for the next. But thats why its great.
Anyway - If you’ve not seen all the films on that list you’d better get busy…
Little miss sunshine
