Mark

As I procrastinate (not even word for the day toilet paper-I’m wicked smart!) as I’m writing journals for college, I have been looking through Mark’s old photos on Flickr and reading old blogs of his…don’t ask me what caused this because I don’t know (ask Calvin if you really want to know)

But as I read the blogs of when he was in the ’swich and the photos of the same time I realised how much (in the non-gay way) I miss him and them times

Random

This is going to be one of those random blogs which doesn’t really have a point, or a purpose or even a natural flow (that sounds very much like a description of my journals!)

Ruth has written a very nice blog about last weekend where her, Paul, Steve, Dave and I went to watch Town play and absolutely whoop Wolves…roll on Scum tomorrow! (Watch out Premiership…the Tractor Boy’s are coming!)

I really like a band called Scouting for Girls, they are pretty brilliant I think. I’ve liked them since like May but haven’t been bothered to blog about it…check them out on youtube or something, it’s worth it

Found out the other day that somebody my age (22) doesn’t know what the text speak abbreviations mean…so for all of you out there here is a brief low-down on some

  • LOL = ‘Laugh out Loud’
  • LMAO = ‘Laughing my arse off’
  • ROFL = ‘River of Life’…I mean ‘Rolling on the floor laughing’…whoops

The Royal George is shut at the moment whilst they re-fit the kitchen and I never thought I would but I weirdly miss it and I hope they still have the quiz when they re-open as a “Two for One” pub. It’s been a place for too many memories to mention in just one blog, so for all of you who are either Retro’s or Famous Five or just punters of the pub then use the comments thingy to share fun times at the George.

Tonight, I’m off with Andy, Kev and Paul and maybe others to see the fireworks at Christchurch Park in the ’swich and it should be wicked…I love fireworks I do!

On the 22nd of November I’m going to see Kanye West at the O2 Arena (which used to be called the Millennium Dome) and that should be well good fun and I’m really excited about it, although I am a bit worried it may be a bit of a bittersweet experience for me.

Finally, yesterday was John Pinder’s last day at CYM before he moves back to Hitchin, which was proper sad. He joins an elite list of people who have left Ipswich since I’ve been working at CYM…maybe there really is a curse (jokes)
