On Monday I was back in Cambridge at the ol’ Riddle Dizzle (Ridley Hall) for the start of my second year of my degree and it was really cool to catch up with all of the guys and girls from my year again and have lots of good times
On Monday night after having some food and beers in town we went back to Ridley to watch a movie and Tom (name-checked!) had brought ‘28 Weeks Later‘ with him so we decided to watch that…I can’t do film reviews as good as Tom can (check out his blog for brilliant film reviews) but I thought it was pretty good, it wasn’t as good or scary as the first one (only rarely are sequels as good) but it was enjoyable and had a fair few excellent bits in it and as Tom explained to me it is a good analogy for the Iraq war (I would explain it but I couldn’t do it as clearly as Tom did)
Also enjoyed watching my mate Brian get scared (as he did watching ‘28 Days Later‘) and watching him get quite annoyed when Ben tried to sneak up on him in the dark to scare him, was hilarious!
