I’m back
Hey!
After a bit of a break (maybe a hiatus…I like that word) I’m back and blogging!
The first question to answer is why such a break?
For five days last week, I went to a place called Fareham (in between Portsmouth and Southampton) with Rach to see her Dad and his missus.
We went down last Wednesday on a National Express coach and I was so nervous the whole way there! But luckily for me, I got on with Rach’s Dad really well and fun time was had by all!
Highlights were…
- Obviously spending time with my wicked girlfriend
- But also growing to tolerate then like Andy’s (Rach’s dad) two dogs
- Also going to Portsmouth quays which is quite a swish and done up area and hanging out there and also going up a thing called Spinnaker Tower which has the largest glass floor in Europe on the first floor up (which is very very high!) and I was petrified like you wouldn’t believe…I just kept thinking about Bond villains who have such things and then expecting the glass to disappear any minute!
- Getting a nice new hoodie and a cool Vans t-shirt
- Watching Inside Man with Rach
- Getting hooked on watching Scrubs and Deal or No Deal!

Told you Inside Man is awesome. Denzel Washington is the bomb. As is Clive Owen and Chiojgejagete Eiofjjar, but less so because Clive Owen is a sissy name and Chioallagdadger is hard to spell and harder to pronounce. Also Denzel Washington has the best name check in any TV show ever when in Angel this takes place
Gunn: “I haven’t bothered to see a movie since Denzel was robbed at the Oscars for Malcom X. Later.” [He leaves]
Wesley: “That was quite a performance.”
Cordelia: “I know! Talk about being wound up to tight.”
Wesley: “No. I mean Denzel.”
Cordelia: “Oh. Well, he’s always great.”
Wesley to Angel: “What about you?”
Angel: “Who doesn’t love Denzel?”
Indeed, who doesn’t love Denzel?
Did you just make up that name to try to get credit for being all up on movies by bringing up a name nobody has heard of in coversation?
If you’re talking about Chiwetel Ejiofor then he isn’t made up…he’s been in Inside Man (obviously), Love Actually, Serenity?
Oh, him - see, i knew that - it’s just Mark…you can’t really understand him with his Welsh accent.
