and i’m back…!
hey guys! long time no post, thanks Gareth btw. As Mr.Verow informed you i have been away at summer madness which is a christian camp at sizewell. Had a awesome week, God showed how amazing he is, and fun was had by all! Got so much to tell all of you. But i won’t bore you with that now!
Just one thing to say…. 38 days until i leave Ipswich for Chester!
Graffiti
I felt well clever on Wednesday at the Pub Quiz when we had the following question…
Q: Which Italian word meaning ‘Scratched writing’ is used in every day English?
BULLET POINT - This is where Kev answered Scruffy! and we later found out The Baxter said Etching
But I said and the answer turned out to be…
A: Graffiti!
Go Me!
Added to that, last night I watched a show called ‘Law of the Playground’ on Channel 4 which is really good by the way…Watch it!
But on that they talked about the best peice of graffiti they have ever seen, so I thought we would have a wonderful poll type thing to decide…
In the comments put your nominations then I’ll get Mark to see if he can put a voting thing on our website…
Sorry
Just a quick sorry for no posts this week, there are a few reasons why…
- I’ve only been in the office this week quickly to check emails and so have been unable to post
- Hayley has been at Summer Madness (Christian camp at Sizewell) all week
So sorry to all of you who rely on our trying to be funny blogs every day, I promise that next week there will at least be a post every other day
Phil has a Ball!
“Well, I would hope he would have two!”
Sorry just had to make at least one Phil/Balls joke!
I promise that’ll will be the only one (Hopefully!)
So, anyway putting my moronic humour aside, last night Phil Brown actually did have a Ball!
It was brilliant!
We all dressed up very poshly and to be fair we all scrubbed up quite well (BULLET POINT - I was shocked that some people did scrub up good…namely me and Dave Hannah!) (ANOTHER BULLET POINT - I’m sure there will be photos of us all looking dashing online soon)
First things first, the first reason I absolutely loved it was that not only was there a bar but maybe the cheapest bar I have ever been in! It was great! A pint of IPA for £1.60! How cheap/good is that?! And it tasted nice as well!
The second reason I loved it was Kev…now I can hear you all saying “Well everyone loves Kev” and yes that is true but Kev is the best damn Ballroom dancer I’ve ever seen! (maybe joint top with Bruce Forsyth) We had an hour or so of Ballroom dancing tuition and it was suprisingly fun! The woman leading it was a tad scary and I did feel that if I did anything wrong she was gonna make me do press ups but she was quite fun to have a joke with so can’t complain. But the master of the ballroom was Kev, by far! Phil Brown gave him a run for his money but Kev was the master!
Then after the ballroom tuition it was time for the cheesy whiteboy music that I can bust a move with! The music wasn’t quite up to my standards for a disco but it wasn’t bad! Me and Hayley did bust some moves to a few songs and pulled out some very Pulp Fiction moves…you don’t believe us…
Here’s proof of our Travolta style -
How cool are we?! (Rhetorical question and the answer is only very!)
So, just to end, Thanks Phil for throwing a wicked fun Ball and hope that you have raised a fair bit of cash for your gap year! It’s gonna be great working with you!
