What to do on a Sunday afternoon??? Watch the first movie which you spot sitting on the shelf of the room that you’re sitting in is always a good choice! Thats how Kate, Gareth and myself ended up watching the fantastic film that is “Saved”. True if you watched it and weren’t already ’saved’ (for want of a better word!) it would put you off Christianity and for that matter Christians for ever, but if you know that only 95% of the stereotype’s in the movie are true, then its good fun!
The classic moment which I have taken great inspiration from (watch out for me throwing my bible at you the next time I see you..) is as follows:
Hilary Faye: Mary, turn away from Satan. Jesus, he loves you.
Mary: You don’t know the first thing about love.
Hilary Faye: [throws a Bible at Mary] I am FILLED with Christ’s love! You are just jealous of my success in the Lord.
Mary: [Mary holds up the Bible] This is not a weapon! You idiot.

O, how little she knows, the double edged sword and all that!
