Shock, horror, people have been selling Blue Peter badges on Ebay! So now the BBC are trying to find a way which links each badge to it’s rightful owner.

“Blue Peter editor Richard Marson said: “We know how hard children work to earn a badge, and we are doing our best to ensure that this long-standing Blue Peter institution is not undermined.”

I dont wish to be misunderstood, for anyone that is able to gain a Blue Peter Badge in the correct way (of writing to the show or entering a compettion) should do so and not cheat by buying one.But I would guess that the majority of the people who buy the badges off the web are those who missed out on obtaining one whilst they were young enough to do so.

Now I have a feeling that if they gave Badges to those over the age of 16 then they would not be having this issue, because then those people who are resorting to buying the badges would instead write an interesting letter to the show and recieve one that was fully deserved.

Silver – given to those who already have a badge and do something different to get this one!

Green – given to people who do something good for the enviroment

Competition – given to competition winners

I became rather distressed today whilst driving back into the centre of town after playing Taxi to Mark.

I was driving down a road towards the centre of town at 30 MPH. What was the reason for me driving at 30 MPH I hear you ask? Well it was because along that particular stretch of road that is the SPEED LIMIT, and not being a rebellious person I like to try and stick to them hence of not breaking the law hence not having to pay a fine which I can’t afford… any way I digress! So there I was being a good law abiding citizen when I noticed the guy behind me getting rather impatient at my slow speed (I’ll admit 30 MPH along there is frustrating but it’s the SPEED LIMIT) so after a while he over took me, then another car gets behind me and gets so close that you probably couldn’t have even placed a piece of paper between us (really? I hear you ask! No I’m exaggerating but it was close!). So eventually (after I started to speed up in fear of a bill from the garage after my car needed repairing because of someone going into the back of me) this car also over took me… but as they did so the woman in the passenger seat who I would estimate was in her 70’s stuck her hand out the window and made not a rude gesture but a violent one. HOW RUDE! Did I mention that I was going slowly because it was the speed limit? I know, I know young people these days and their not breaking the law, it’s disgraceful that’s what it is.

To add insult to injury it then took me 50 minutes to do a journey which is usually 10 because of the traffic in the town.
